Free range eggs with a Class A grading, supplied six to a box. Each shell egg has a firm white and a rich yolk, ready for everyday cooking. Use them for boiling, poaching or frying at breakfast, or whisk into an omelette or scrambled eggs for a quick midweek meal. They also work well in baking, giving cakes, batters and Yorkshire puddings their structure and colour. Beaten eggs make a good coating for fish or schnitzel before crumbing. Store the box in the fridge, pointed end down, to help keep the yolks centred. Bring eggs to room temperature before baking for a more even mix. Check the shells are unbroken before use and cook thoroughly for the best texture in both sweet and savoury dishes.
